Yvonne Okyere-Whalley is an associate at n. dowuona & company. Her areas of focus are corporate and commercial, property and construction and dispute resolution. Yvonne has recently advised on a number of corporate and commercial transactions, including advising a large multi-national investment company on their sale of a residential development in Ghana and advising on the sale of significant stakes in companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining n. dowuona & company, Yvonne worked as a junior lawyer in the Leeds office of the leading UK law firm, DAC Beachcroft Solicitors. Yvonne is a graduate of Hull University Law School where she received her L.L.B. Law Degree and was awarded the ‘J Haydon Glen’ Prize in recognition for her outstanding performance in Public Law & the Constitution. Yvonne is also a graduate from the University of Law, York, UK where she completed her LPC and the University of Ghana. She is a registered member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Solicitors Regulations Authority in the UK.
